Why is there no monthly billing?
Accessibility programmes do not actually operate monthly — they operate on quarterly audit cycles, half-yearly compliance reviews, and annual VPAT renewal. Annual commitments also lower churn for us, which lets us hold prices flat while expanding the AI auditor capabilities. The shortest cycle we offer is quarterly.
What is the difference between a deep audit and a quick scan?
A deep audit runs our full 6-agent AI specialist ensemble with optional NVDA screen-reader simulation, contrast measurement, ARIA validation, and an IAAP-format Accessibility Conformance Report — that is what teams cite in procurement, legal review, and EU market surveillance. A quick scan is a deterministic axe-core + DOM check that catches the ~25–30% of WCAG criteria that are machine-detectable. Quick scans are the regression layer; deep audits are the evidence.
Why does annual save more than quarterly?
Annual contracts have ~5× the customer lifetime value of monthly, ~3× of quarterly. We pass that retention dividend back as up to 25% lower effective rate. It also matches how a CFO actually budgets for compliance work.
What happens if I exceed my tier limits?
Soft-cap at 110% of allowance — we notify you and continue serving. Hard-stop at 200% pending upgrade. Overage rates: $1.50 per extra deep audit, $0.005 per extra quick scan. Limits are enforced server-side; there is no surprise bill.
Can I switch tiers mid-cycle?
Yes. Upgrade is prorated and effective immediately. Downgrade takes effect at the next renewal — we do not refund unused time on the current cycle, but we apply your existing balance to the new tier.
What is included in "Manual review" on Growth and above?
On Growth, each critical-severity finding is reviewed by our AI Verdict layer for false-positive elimination. On Scale, IAAP-credentialed humans pair-review critical findings before report finalisation. On Enterprise, the human reviewer is named and contracted.
Does the audit pledge still exist?
Yes — on annual and multi-year plans only. If our audit misses a critical-severity issue that your manual auditor catches within 90 days of report delivery, we re-run the audit at no cost and credit one month of your tier.
Are there enterprise discounts beyond Scale?
Yes. Enterprise contracts at $4,999+/yr are negotiated based on volume, deployment topology (multi-region, dedicated VPC, FedRAMP-aligned), and contract length. Multi-year contracts unlock additional 10–15% off list.
What payment methods do you accept?
Credit and debit cards (Stripe), ACH / wire (US), SEPA (EU), and procurement card or PO for annual and multi-year contracts. Annual contracts can be invoiced in USD, EUR, GBP, INR or NPR.
How do refunds work?
Within 14 days of first charge, full refund. After that, we do not refund unused time on the current cycle but we honour the audit-pledge mechanism for missed critical-severity findings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current cycle.
Is the product GDPR / HIPAA-ready?
GDPR-compliant by design (EU data residency available on Scale + Enterprise; pre-signed DPA + SCCs on request). HIPAA-ready BAA available on Enterprise — note that healthcare customers should not transmit PHI to the audit endpoint.
